Dialog

The Dialog tile is designed for interactive conversations with the AI assistant in Tila, without needing to create additional tiles.

What does it do?

Opens a chat window where you can have a free-form conversation: ask follow-up questions, get recommendations, and save the conversation history.

When to use?

Use this tile:

• for quick consultations and clarifying details,
• when brainstorming ideas and prototyping,
• for learning and testing hypotheses in a dialog format.

Main tile elements

Chat window

Message input field and conversation history window, showing all incoming and outgoing messages.

Settings

• Instruction — sets the assistant’s general context and role.
• Temperature — adjusts creativity: lower values give precise answers, higher values give more diverse responses.

Model selection

Manual or automatic selection of the language model for the dialog. More: Choosing a language model.

Send button

Press Enter or click the send button to send your message.

How to use

1. Add the Dialog tile to the canvas.
2. Set the instruction and temperature in Settings if needed.
3. Enter your messages in the chat field and send them.
4. Continue the dialog, clarify or switch topics as you go.

Recommendations

• Use instructions to define the assistant’s role (for example, “act as a marketing expert”).
• Save conversation history for context-aware threads.
