# Note

The **Note** tile is used to store freeform text notes directly in the Tila workspace. It doesn’t trigger AI generation but serves for recording ideas, comments, and supporting information needed while working on a scenario.

## What does it do?

Saves text; you can use headings, lists, links, and other basic formatting elements.

## When to use?

Use this tile to store intermediate thoughts or notes right on the canvas, and also as a context source for subsequent generations.

## Main tile elements

### Text input field

A field with a simple text editor: supports bold, italics, lists, links, tables, and code snippets.

### “Apply changes” button

Finishes editing and closes the editor.

## How to use

1. Create a **Note** tile on the canvas.
2. Enter text with any formatting you need.
3. Click **Apply changes** to exit edit mode.
